Most everybody has heard of the power of dead sea shampoo and many university studies have shown how powerful a biotin shampoo can be but are they right for you. Dead sea shampoo is used for many different scalp ailments including scalp psoriasis, scalp acne and even hair loss as the dead sea found in dead sea shampoos does an amazing job of purifying your scalp. Many people also use dead sea hair products including dead sea shampoo and conditioner for dandurff and itchy scalp. The magic is the ability of the mud to pull impurities from the scalp and to help to kill scalp fungus and scalp bacteria that leads to many different scalp conditions. Very few shampoos can detoxify the scalp like a dead sea shampoo does.

Biotin is mainly used for people that are concerned or suffering from hair thinning or hair loss. Biotin shampoo does amazing work for women with hair loss or women with hair thinning that need help to restore health to the foolicles. Several major universities have done testing on Biotin for hair loss and the results were very good showing that many people need topical supplementation for biotin directly to the scalp. This can come from Biotin Shampoo, Biotin conditioner or Biotin hair serums that all be drectly deposited to the hair on a daily basis – as part of your normal daily hygiene routine. Biotin seems to work really well for women with hair loss and hair thinning.

Do men really need their own skin care products? The answer is yes, because there are differences in the male body and skin. The sebum gland that produces oil on the skin is more active in men. For this reason pores on men often tend to get clogged more often. On some men this leads to a bumpy or uneven complexion that may look rough. Also because many men have neglected their skin over time it may need to erase some of the damage that has already been done. Most women wear makeup and lotions with sunscreen on the face daily offering some protection. Many men do not put anything on the face and have no protection from the elements.

Men need to use exfoliates to remove dead skin cells. Shaving does provide some exfoliation in men, but generally more is needed. They also need to hydrate dry skin the same way that women do.

Many products contain chemicals and alcohol which can dry out the skin. Look for natural ingredients to both moisturize and cleanse the skin. Some ingredients that have been shown to work well in men’s skincare are hyaluronic acid for exfoliation, and vitamin C to help produce collagen. With proper regular skincare men can reverse some of the damage and create healthy smooth skin.

Scalp eczema may also be called seborrheic eczema or seborrheic dermatitis. This type of eczema affects the other greasy parts of the body as well such as the eyebrows, corners of eyes, and sides of nose, T-Zone of the face. It may also be present in armpits, chest, and upper back. Scalp eczema often appears during puberty and other times of hormonal change.

Common signs of scalp eczema are flaking and scaling on the scalp. Scales tend to be white or yellowish colored and often cover red inflamed skin. Some people experience only a few isolated spots while in others the entire scalp is covered. This is an extremely itchy and uncomfortable condition. Scratching may cause increased irritation or infection.

Doctors are not certain what causes scalp eczema, but many believe the primary cause is a yeast called Malassezia. This yeast is normally present on the scalp, but an excess amount may cause eczema breakouts. Scalp eczema can occur anytime after puberty and is common with people between the ages of thirty and sixty.

Scalp eczema is a chronic condition and can continue for years. With the right treatment it can be kept under control. Many products that are suppose to treat scalp eczema and other scalp conditions contain harsh chemicals that will dry the scalp and make problems worse. The scalp must have a certain amount of oil to be healthy. Natural treatments are better at balancing the sclap. Zinc is one ingredient that helps regulate the sebum gland to produce the proper oil balance. Thyme and sage are natural scalp detoxifying agents. Emu oil and jojoba oil help moisturize the scalp.

Vitamins Promote Hair Growth

People often wonder how they can get their hair to get faster growing hair. The rate in which your hair grows depends on several factors. One of course is heredity. The other is the overall health of hair and hair follicle. Just like your body depends on certain nutrients for its health, the hair depends on particular nutrients and minerals to obtain optimal health.

Hair that is not receiving the proper nutrition may grow slowly, and be dull or lifeless. Other than nutritional factors, there are environmental factors that play a part in the health of hair. The main external cause for unhealthy hair is harsh chemical in hair products. This includes perms, straightners, and coloring agents, but also may include many shampoos and scalp treatment conditioners that also contain chemicals. These chemicals will dry the hair and scalp and may cause hair breakage. A vitamin regime can help repair previous damage. The right vitamins can be beneficial to all hair types, including black hair which often undergoes a high amount of chemical ingredients.

Some hair vitamins and minerals that promote healthy hair and longer growth are:

Vitamin A- This is an antioxidant that aids in the production of healthy sebum on the scalp. Vitamin A is naturally found in many fruits and vegetables and dairy products.

Vitamin C- Also an antioxidant, it is essential in healthy hair and skin. It is naturally found in many citrus fruits.

Vitamin E- Vitamin E enhances circulation and improves the condition of hair.

Vitamin B3- Vitamin B3 is a combination of Biotin and Niacin. It is great for strong hair. Biotin increases Keratin production which may prevent hair loss and the graying process. Niacin is good for scalp circulation.

Vitamins B12, B6, And B5- This B vitamin combination increases the overall healthy of hair as well as the body.

When growing out long hair vitamins should be included in an overall healthy hair plan. Eating right and taking care of hair with natural, non chemical products will help as well. A daily vitamin regimen should be followed for two to three months to see noticeable results.
